Ruxum Exchange invites

I have five ruxum invites. Pretty decent exchange, but not that great unless you plan on making large transactions because of the deposit/withdraw fees. Currently the exchange is in beta and there are no trading fees. PM your email address if you want one.
Also there are some available here.

There has to be a better way.

I'm curious how most people buy bitcoin, it seems to me that the current options for buying bitcoin are just terrible.
For example, (1) create an account at getemoney.com (2) create an account at libertyreserve.com (3) send a check to getemoney.com to purchase funds at libertyreserve.com (5) create an account at a bitcoin exchange eg. mtgox or ruxum (6) transfer funds from libertyreserve.com to my bitcoin exchange account (7) place a bid on some bitcoin.
Seriously.. there has to be a more streamlined way to do this. Not to mention that in most cases you will be dinged with fee's at least once if not several times along the way.
Why don't bitcoin exchanges accept personal checks or direct bank deposits?
I wish I knew someone locally (vancouver) who would sell me some bitcoin for a fair price but the only ones I can find are on craigslist and they are charging $20 CAD for 1 BTC.

has anyone managed to get money out of a ruxum account?

i bought bitcoins from ruxum.com in 2011. The articles in WSJ convinced me it was a legitimate site, and it got a decent amount of press.
I made the mistake of not transferring them to my own wallet; now the site is down and i can't log in. I managed to save an html file showing my address and balance; i also have emails from their support team about a wire transfer i sent them.
online forms said you could get ahold of the ceo, chad pankewitz, on linked in, but i didn't have luck with that.
did anyone manage to get ahold of that guy and get their coins?

What I like of Bitcoin the most (plus asking for advice on BTC->UAH)

Here I am, planning a trip to Kiev, not even considering the bank to get my fund converted, looking for a good website to convert BTC to UAH (Hrivnas, Ukrainian currency).
How cool is that?
The perfect spot would be a place where I can also easily withdraw Kiev downtown, but maybe I am asking too much :)
Anyways, I found: ruxum.com -> looks down liqpay.com -> how easily can I get cash? www.bitinstant.com -> haven't figure out how to get fiat.
And then this as summary of the sum :) http://www.bestchange.com/w1-uah-to-bitcoin.html
Thank you Bitcoin community!
